RIMAP Hospitality Services Inc.
Marc Varadi is the president of Rimap Hospitality and is also co-president of Rimap Developments. In addition, he is the co-owner of Prince Developments, VP Development of Groupe Canvar Construction and the asset manager of Summit Property Management.
As such, he undertakes numerous roles in the real estate and hospitality industries. He was born and raised in Montréal, Quebec, where he pursued his studies at McGill University and graduated from civil engineering. Following his studies, Marc joined Groupe Canvar Construction in 2001, where he had a major part in restructuring the company’s 25 year old business model.
The company has since branched out and transformed into a vertically integrated private development firm which develops, builds , owns and operates its continually growing portfolio of apartments and hotels. Groupe Canvar Construction now builds exclusively for Rimap Development and its hospitality management division Rimap Hospitality exclusively operates their hotels. In August 2008 Rimap Hospitality opened the doors of its first hotel in Montreal and has since added over half dozen more to its portfolio.
Today Rimap Hospitality has grown into a highly respected leader in Montreal’s hotel industry. Rimap is currently developing 2 more mixed use hotel apartment projects in both Downtown Montreal and Ottawa. Most recently, Rimap Developments sister company Prince Developments formed a partnership with Crombie REIT, thus expanding their reach into Toronto to develop 480 apartment units in Oakville, and 400 more in Montreal.
Summit Property Management is the exclusive management company that operates the current portfolio of over 2,000 apartments and over 1,500 in the development pipeline.
