Matthew held senior executive positions with Rocco Forte Hotels, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Metropolitan Hotels and was General Manager of the acclaimed Hazelton Hotel in Toronto, which was at the time, the rate and RevPAR leader in the country and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.

More recently, Matthew was Managing Director and Head of Development for Pearle Hospitality where he spearheaded the growth and expansion of the company for ten years, with the successful launch of several new businesses including two luxury hotels - The Elora Mill Inn and Spa and The Pearle Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection. Growing the company from $20M to over $100M in annual revenues.

Matthew is currently the CEO of The Laundry Rooms, where he cultivates and coordinates the strategic growth of the business.
