Matt Wehling is responsible for the franchise and managed development growth in US & Canada for the Hilton Portfolio of Brands including: Curio Collection by Hilton, Canopy by Hilton, Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Motto by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Hampton and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton, and Tru by Hilton.
Wehling began his career in hospitality 26 years ago, the last 20 of which have been with Hilton. His experience has yielded extensive knowledge in hotel development, franchising, branding, and restaurant development and operations, and provided the opportunity to develop and foster countless relationships throughout the industry.
Wehling is a member of the DePaul University School of Hospitality Advisory Council and, with his wife and mother of their 4 children, a committee member and volunteer for Helping Hand Center serving children and adults with disabilities. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Psychology from Miami University of Ohio.
