Sara Glenn has a unique blend senior level experience across all aspects of hospitality, operations, finance and asset management.

Based in Toronto, Sara’s career has been focused on the Hotel and Real Estate industries. She has a wealth of experience in how to identify opportunities, develop transformational strategies and unlock value. She has been both an entrepreneur and an executive in large and small scale companies.

Sara started her career in hotel management, working in Canada and the Caribbean with Delta Hotels & Resorts. From there she transitioned to the ownership and asset management side of hospitality where she gained over 30 years of experience, taking on roles with Horwath Consultants, Westmont Hospitality Group, Fairmont Raffles Hotel International, and InnVest Hotels as well as running her own asset management and advisory firm, Whetstone Partners. In these roles Sara worked in Canada, the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America. Sara transitioned back to the brand and operations side of the industry when she joined Accor as the Chief Operating Officer, North & Central America. She oversaw Accor’s operation in Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. She played a critical role in powering the continued growth and development of Accor by driving operational performance and excellence, cultivating strong relationships with key partners, and building long-term value for owners.

Most recently, Sara has taken on an advisory role with Henderson Park, an international private equity real estate manager.

Sara made history by being appointed as the first female chair of Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) Board of Directors. She served on the HAC Board from 2018 - 2025.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
