Alnoor (Al) Gulamani Alnoor Gulamani is president and founder of the Bayview Hospitality Group and has been active in hotel development, ownership, operations and investment for over 39 years. Alnoor is a pioneer in extended stay and dual branded hotels in Canada . From very modest beginnings starting from a small motel in Cornwall Ontario , he has grown his business into a significant portfolio of hotels and residential apartments. He developed the first purpose-built Homewood Suites by Hilton in Mississauga, introducing the brand to Canada and also established the first Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn by Hilton combination in Canada. Alnoor serves on Hilton’s Owners Advisory Council and has received numerous recognitions from Hilton including the Dual Brand Developer Award, Top Developer – Homewood Suites, Top Developer -DoubleTree, Top Performing Hotel and Awards of Merit in Community Service.

Alnoor is a recipient of the Agakhan Foundation Scholarship and graduated from the University of Leeds in England and has completed post graduate studies in Finance at the University of Toronto . He volunteers his time and resources to support various initiatives aimed at bringing people together across cultures, creating opportunities for young people, improving civil society and enhancing the quality of life of diverse communities in which Bayview is engaged. He currently serves as a Board Member and Vice Chair of the Hotel Association of Canada.
