Neelu Toor is the Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel at Manga Hotel Group, a leading Canadian hospitality investment, development, management, and ownership group. Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 34 hotels with over 6,400 rooms across Canada and in the United States and has 18 food and beverage outlets, 10 airport parking sites, 9 high-rise residential rental developments and five hotel developments in the pipeline.
As a seasoned legal and strategic executive, she is responsible for matters across various business verticals. In her role, she oversees a diverse portfolio comprising real estate investments, asset management, property development, construction, procurement, and hospitality operations.
Ms. Toor is well versed in complex corporate and commercial matters with experience in private cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. Most recently, Neelu was a Partner in the corporate group at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP having started her career in law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in London, UK.
Ms. Toor holds a law degree from the University of Oxford, an MA from Stanford University, and a BA (summa cum laude) from Cornell University. She is on the Board of Directors of the CAMH Foundation and a member of the Royal Ontario Museum's Young Patrons Circle. She is part of the ABA Women in Business and Law Group and sits on the Policy Advisory Board at University of Guelph’s School of Hospitality.
