Armed with experience in business development in the retail trade and an MBA from Queen’s University, Hugo officially joined Germain Hôtels’ operations in 2006. Involved from the outset in the development of the Alt concept, Hugo actively participated in the design, construction, start-up and operations of the first Alt property and held the position of General Manager of Alt Hotel Quartier DIX30 in its first year of operation. He is committed to making the banner a leader in its field in Canada. Hugo is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Horizon Charlevoix. He is also a member of the boards of directors of the Séminaire Saint-François and its Foundation, as well as the Festival d’été de Québec since 2013.
