Charles Suddaby

Vice President, Hospitality Practice Leader, Valuation, Advisory & Property Tax Services, Capital Markets Group | Cushman & Wakefield Ltd.
Charles Suddaby leads the Hospitality Practice at Cushman & Wakefield Ltd. His group specializes in market and feasibility studies, development strategies, appraisals, operational reviews, asset management, litigation support and other services associated with the hospitality industry. They focus on hospitality assignments across Canada, but also coordinate with Cushman & Wakefield's international offices on projects in other parts of the world.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2008, Charles operated his own, independent consulting firm for approximately 15 years, completing assignments in the United States, throughout the Caribbean and in Europe, Russia, Africa and South America. Before establishing his own firm, he led the Hospitality Consulting Practice at PriceWaterhouse in Canada, and, before that, was a partner at Laventhol & Horwath.
Charles is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and on the Advisory Board of Hotelier magazine.
As a result of his expertise and reputation in the hotel industry, Charles is a frequent speaker at industry events. He has been a regular guest speaker, panelist or moderator at the Canadian Hotel Investment Conference, the Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference and many other similar industry events across Canada, the U.S. and Caribbean. He is regularly quoted in the national media on matters relating to the hotel industry, and has written numerous articles on matters relating to the industry with these articles having been published in various trade publications.
